Firefighter's Relief and Pension Board July 19, 2022 Minutes Kent, Washington Pending Approval BOARD MEMBERS PRESENT: Mayor Ralph, Sam Grubbs, Marvin Berg and Kim Komoto, Secretary. STAFF MEMBERS PRESENT: Paula Painter, Finance Director and Courtney Black, Deputy Finance Director 1. Call to Order The meeting was called to order at 3:32 p.m., with Mayor Ralph presiding. 2. Roll Call Mayor Dana Ralph - Present Councilmember Les Thomas - Absent Kim Komoto - Present Sam Grubbs - Present Marvin Berg - Present Alternate, Steven Barber - Absent 3. Changes to the Agenda None. Sam Grubbs moved to approve the agenda as presented, seconded by Kim Komoto. The motion passed unanimously with a vote of 4-0. 4. Approval of Minutes, dated April 19, 2022 Grubbs moved to approve the minutes dated April 19, 2022, seconded by Komoto. The motion passed unanimously with a vote of 4-0. S. Financial Reports Finance Director, Paula Painter provided details of the Cash and Investments as of June 30, 2022 and the Statement of Revenues and Expenses as of June 30, 2022. 6. Update on Recruitment for Position No. 1 City Clerk, Kim Komoto advised that Sam Grubbs was reelected to Position No. 1 for an additional two-year term. 7.
