RESOLUTION NO. 332
VlHEREAS, that it is the consensus of the City Council of
the City of Kent that plan III as proposed by Carey & Kramer,
Consulting Engineers, for the design of a Sewage disposal
Plant, should be approved ar1d that the City Attorney and
special coun8el be authorized and directed to consult with
Carey & Kar.mer with a vievJ to presenting for action by this
body, a proposed contract for consideration and possible execu-
tion at the next regular meeting.
~illEREAS, said counsel are further directed to report to
the !tfl:ayor or City Attorney, if possible, prior to Monday,
March 9, 1953, if such .meeting disclose differences which
require consideration by this body prior to the next regular
.meeting.
WHEREAS, the City Attorney is directed to inform. the
State Pollution Control Commission Ofuthe substance of this
action.
VJHEREAS, one reason for this action is that a contract
was submitted to this body for the first time at 7:00p.m.
)O'clock this evening, which contract as presented was not
in acceptable final form.
NOW, 'iHEREFOHE, BE IT RESOLVED BY 'rHE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF KENT IN HEGULA.ct J:,'lliE'l'ING .AD;JJJlviBLED that this Resolu-
tion be adopted this 2nd day of March, 1953.
