I WHEREAS, Edward J. Holman, one of' the employees of the
City of Kent, has reached,or will shortly reach,the age of retire-
ment under the rules and reguletione of the State of Washington
Ste.t ewide City Employees Retirement Syetem, end
WHEHEAS, t;he seid Edward J. Holmen is a key em:oloyee of the
City of Kent;, and it; is the desire of' the City or Kent to keen
him on the payroll of the City efter his reaching retirement a.ge,
e.nd,
WHEREAS, the said Edward J. Holman is willing to continue
his employment with the City of Kent, now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY 'l'HE CI'l'Y COUNCIL 0.1!' THE CITY OF KENT in
regular meeting assembled, as follows:

City ot' Kent;
2. That the City or Kent hereby requests the State of
Washington Statewide City Employees Retirement System to
oermi t the retention on the payroll or the City or Kent ot·
