RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION of the City Council
of the City of Kent, Washington regarding a-
mendment of the City's Comprehensive Plan.
WHEREAS, an amendment of the land use element of the
City of Kent's Comprehensive Plan has been proposed as indi-
cated on the attached Appendix nAn, and
WHEREAS, in accordance with the provisions of Chapter
35A.63.073 of the Revised Code of Washington, a hearing was
held before the Planning Commission of the City of Kent, and
WHEREAS, after said hearing of the Planning Commission
on May 23, 1978, the proposed amended plan was forwarded to
the City Council with the recommendation that the amendment
be adopted, and
WHEREAS, the City Council held public hearings on the
proposed amendment on June 19 and July 5, 1978 and following
said hearings concurred with the recommendation of the Plan-
ning Commission, NOW, THEREFORE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENT, WASHINGTON, DO
HEREBY RESOLVE:
Section 1. That the amendment to the Comprehensive
Plan of the City of Kent, attached hereto as Appendix "A", and
incorporated herein by reference as if fully set forth herein,
be and the same hereby is adopted.
Section 2. That the Comprehensive Plan amendment be
filed with the City Clerk and in the office of the Planning
Department and be made available for public inspection upon
request.
