A RESOLUTION of the City Council
of the City of Kent, Washington regarding
vacation of a certain street or portion
thereof in the City of Kent. (South 192nd
Street)
WHEREAS a proper petition has been filed request-
ing vacation of a portion of a dedicated street in the City
of Kent, described as that portion of South 192nd Street ly-
ing between 72nd Avenue South and Railroad right-of-way in
the Southwest quarter of Section 36, Township 23 N., Range
4 East, Willamette Meridian, City of Kent, King County,
Washington, NOW, THEREFORE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENT, WASHINGTON,
DO HEREBY RESOLVE:
Section 1. That the hearing on the aforesaid vaca-
tion shall be at a regular meeting of the Kent City Council
to be held at 8 o'clock p.m. August 21, 1978 in the Council
Chambers in Kent City Hall, Kent, Washington.
Section 2. The City Clerk shall give proper notice
of the hearing and cause the notice to be posted as provided
by law.
Section 3. The Planning Director shall obtain the
necessary written approval or rejection of the Water, Street
and Sewer departments and shall transmit said information to
the City Council so the matter can be considered by the City
Council at the regular meeting of August 21, 1978.
