RESOLUTION NO. h6 8
WHEREAS, it is felt to be in the best interests of
the citizens of the City of Kent that a policy manual be adopted
which shall set forth the City of Kent's operating policies and-
procedures surrounding the day•to-day oDeration of the City and
WHEREAS, said policy manual shoul4 be employed as a
guide to answering daily operating questions and in making
routine decisions and
WHEREAS, the use of said policy manual should result
in the City of Kent operating 6n a more efficient and economical

WHEREAS, it is the intent of the City Council of the
City of Kent in passing this Resolution that the Kent City

Administrator shall insure that all such policies and procedures ,
as set forth in said policy manual shall be consistently followed!

NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENT,
WASHINGTON, IN A REGULAR MEETING, DULY ASSEMBLED HEREBY RESOLVE
THAT:
1. The attached document denominated "City of Kent
Policy Manual 11 is hereby adoptdd as the policy manual for the
City of Kent, Washington and the terms thrreof are hereby in-
corporated herein by reference.
PASSED at a regular meeting of the Kent City Council
