HomeMy WebLinkAbout1638RESOLUTION NO. /tfd'b A RESOLUTION of the ctty of Kent, Washmgton, regardmg the vacatwn of a portwn of Southeast 278'h Street m the ctty of Kent, and settmg the pubhc hearmg on the proposed street vacatiOn for June 17,2003 WHEREAS, a petitiOn, attached as Exhtbtt "A," has been filed by Chene Lang to vacate a portwn of Southeast 278'h Street m the ctty of Kent, and WHEREAS, the petitiOn JS stgned by the owners of at least two-thuds of the real property abuttmg those portwns of Southeast 278'h Street to be vacated, and WHEREAS, the pehtton ts m all respects proper, NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENT, WASHINGTON DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS SECTION 1. A pubhc heanng on the street vacatwn petltton requestmg the vacatwn of a portwn of Southeast 278th Street, legally descnbed m Exhtbtt "A," shall be held at a regular meetmg of the Kent Ctty Council at 7 00 p.m., Tuesday, June 17, 2003, m the Counctl Chambers of Ctty Hall located at 220 4th Avenue South, Kent, Washmgton, 98032 SECTION 2. The ctty clerk shall gtve proper notice of the heanng and cause the notice to be posted as provtded by state law, Ch 35 79 RCW 1 Street Vacation - Southeast 278'h Street SECTION 3.
