'NHEREAS, a petition has been filed with the City Council of Kent petitioning that a time be set for detern1ining said petition to vacate certain streets and alleys in the s&id City of Kent; and WHEREAS, said petition is signed by the owners of all of the private property abutting upon that part of such street or alley sought to be vacated; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED that the /1 ll day of Jul..'( , 1939, be set as the date when said petition shall be heard and deter- mined, which said date is not more than sixty (60) nor less than twenty (20) days from and after the date of the passage of this resolution. That notice of the pendency of said petition by a written or printed notice be set up in three of the most public places in the City of Kent, and & like notice in a conspicuous place on the street or alley sought to be vacated, by the City Clerk, which said notice shall be in words and figures as follows: "NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a petition has been filed with the City Clerk of the City of Kent petitioning for the vacation of certain streets and alleys within the said City of Kent. "That said petition was signed by the owners of all of the private property abutting upon the part of said street and alley sought to be vacated. "That the City Council of the City of Kent, by resolution, fixed the time for hearing and determining said petition as the ! 7 d day of J\J '-( , 1939, which said time is not more than sixty (60) nor less than twenty (20) days after the date of the passage of such resolution. "That all persons interested in said petition may be heard in the Council Chambers in the City Hall of the City of Kent, be- 1. fore the City Council, on the 11 T~ day of_...lii.c.-:=u:...;:'-~(,._ ____ , 1939, at eight o'clock p. m., why said petition should not be de- termined and why said street and alley should not be vac~ted. "The property sought to be vacated under said petition is the following described property: 1939. That public street known as Calhoun Way, extend- ing north and south from the south line of Tem- perance Street to the north line of Smith Street, through a tract of land bounded on the north by Temperance street, on the east by Hazel Street, on the south by Smith Street, and on the west by Jason street, which said tract of land is located in the northwest quarter of the northwest quarter of Section 19, Township 22 north, Range 5 east, W.
