have adopted Daylight Saving Time as the official time for the

WHEREAS, the local bus lines have adapted their schedules to
such time, and most industries in wh~oh citizens of the City of
Kent are employed also have adopted sa•d time, and
\~EAS, it is for the benefit of all concerned that the City
Of Kent oonfrom to the general practice,
NOW, TH1~EFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF KENT IN
REGULAR MEETING ASSEMBLED that DayLight Savings TiJje be,' and
it ts hereby, adopted as the official time of the City of Kent
for the months of June," July and August,·· 1948.
