1 WHEREAS, in December, 1944, the Bond Interest and Redemption
2 Fund of the City of Kent hac1 monies invested in United States
3 Goverment Bonds, which said monies were then not immediately
4 available for said fund, and
q' WHEREAS, at that time there became available for purchase by

16 WHEREAS, it is for the best interests of the City that said bonds
17 be retired;
18 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVnD BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
19 OF KENT that the City Clerk and the City Treasurer are hereby
20 expressly authorized, empowered and directed to transfer from
21 the i:Ja:::.o:Bxixi1&£iiHRlDI Bond Interest and Red.emption li'tm.d. to the
22 Ourrent Expense Fund the B! m of ~3,112.49, that being the sum
23 necessary to retire said Trunk Sewer Bonds and accumulated
24 interest; and
25 BE IT Fl:JRTIIER RESOJ,VED that upon said transfer of funds hav.:tng
26 been made, that the City Clerk and City Treasurer are authorized
27 and directed to ret:ir e and cancel said Trunks Sewer Bonds number-
28 ed 25, 28, 29 and 30.
