~m£REAS, there has been presented to the City Council an
ordinance declaring an emergency, making an appropriation and
providing for the issurance of warrants for the 1'fater Department
of said City,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RBSOLVED BY THE 8ITY 80UJ .. ;CIL OF THS CITY
OF KENT IN RZGULAR NEG;TING ASSET.ffi13D
That l-londay, the 15th. day of December, 1947 at 8 o'clock
P.M. of said day is fixed as the time, and the Council Chambers
in the City Hall of the City of Kent is fixed as the place, for
a hearing upon said ordinace, and all persons desiring to be
heard thereon are required to be then and there present.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED
That the City Clerk cause said ordinance and a notice of
the hearing thereon to be published in the Kent News-Journal at
least once before said hearingo
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL this 1st. day of December, 1947.
