R E S 0 L T U I 0 N -----------
·zn-~REAS, the City of Kent has heretofore issued certain Re-
funding 'dater :t~:evenue Bonds of 1940; and
'JTHEREAS, of the said bonds, the bonds nwnbered 56 to 88,
inclusive, are now outstanding and unpaid; and
WHEREAS, under Ordinance Eo. 702 of the City of Kent
authorizing the is sue of said bonds, the City of Kent reserves
the right to redeem all or any of the unmatured bonds of said
issue on any interest payment date on and after six years from
the date thereof; and
J1L~EAS, September l, 1947 is more than s1x years after the
12 date of the bonds and is also an interest payment date for said ~¢

bonds; and
14 the City of Kent desires to call for redemption
bonds numbered 56 to 88, inclusive, of the Refunding Water Rev-

enue Bonds of 1940 of the City of Kent; now, therefore,

BE rr RESOLVl~D by the City Council of the City of Kent that
bonds numbered 56 to 88, inclusive, of the Refunding -Jater Rev-

enue Bonds of 1940 of the City of Kent are hei:eby duly called for
18

payment on :Jeptember l, 1947, and interest upon the bonds so
22
called for redemption shall cease upon the date named, and all
23
of the said bonds shall be payable at the office of the City
24 Treasurer of the City of Kent.

hereby directed to file notice of such redemption in the office

30 days' previous notice of such intended redemption by mail to
