RESOLUTION NO.~
WHEREAS various local improvement districts were established
past years by the City of Kent, and,
WHEREAS in some of these districts the amount collected from
I i assessments was insufficient to pay the outstanding notes and
I' ,!bonds together with interest accumulated over a period of years,
II !I and,

I
1 WHEREAS other of the said local improvement districts have I
!jan excess amount in their accounts after the payment of all out-
1.
'/ standing indebtedness and costs, and,
I WHEREAS by Ordinance No. 548 a local improvement general
i fund was established by the City of Kent,
I
I NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and the City
!1 Council of the City of Kent in regular meeting assembled as fol-

j lows: That under the provisions of the said Ordinance No. 548
I ,: of the City of Kent, the City Treasurer of the City of Kent is
r
If hereby authorized and directed to transfer to the local improve-
li ment general fund all balances remaining in the funds of local
I
1 improvement districts for which the payment of all costs and ex-
~~ penses of such improvements has been made, and,
I!

II i' general fund in such sums as are necessary to pay the outstand-

11 ing indebtedness of those local imnrovement districts in which !j

Jl there is insufficient balance to pay all the obligations of said
