RESOLUTION NO.~-
WHEREAS, the City of Kent has made application to the
County of King for a franchise and/or permits for the installation
of various water lines for the City of Kent upon various County
roads within the general vicinity of the City of Kent; and
WHEREAS, a bond in the sum of One-thousand ($l,OOO.OO)Dollars:
must be provided to the County of King by the City of Kent; and
WHEREAS, the General Casualty Company of America is willing

to furnish such a bond for an agreed premium, upon the authorized
i' execution by the Mayor and City Clerk of the City of Kent of its

i' application form s-6 and the indemnity agreement thereon and the
i
I! franchise and/or prmit bonds;
il NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the
II City of Kent, in regular meeting assembled, that the Mayor and

11 the City Clerk of the City of Kent be and they are hereby authoriz~d
" i and directed to execute on behalf of the City of Kent, General
'I ~! Casualty Company of America bond application form S-6, together wijth
:1 the indemnity agreement thereon, and they are further authorized
':
il and directed to execute on behalf of the City said $1,000.00 bond
11 to the County of King, upon its preparation and delivery by the
ii
