RESOLUTION No. ~-~!iff;
WHEREAS, the City of Kent, a municipal corporation of the
state of washington, desires to transfer as a loan certain
money from the Garbage Fund to the street Fund, for maintenance
and materialsj and
WHEREAS, said money is to be borrowed by the Street Fund
for the purpose of paying necessary expenditures therefor
during the period that receipt of tax allocations is awaitedj
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the

City of Kent in regular meeting assembled that the City Clerk I
and the City Treasurer of the City of Kent be authorized, empowereld
and instructed and they are hereby expressly authorized, empowere~
and instructed to transfer from the garbage fund to the street
fund, for maintenance and materials, the sum of Eight-thousand-
($8,000.00)Dollars;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the said City Clerk and the
said City Treasurer be authorized, empowered and instructed
and they are hereby expressly authorized, empowered and in-
structed to transfer back to the Garbage Fund, from the Street
Fund, for Maintenance and Materials, the moneys so borrowed,
whenever there is sufficient money in said latter fund to
return the moneys borrowed.
PASSED by the City council this 20th day of January, 1958.
