RESOLUTION No._Ko
WHEREAS, the City of Kent has made an application to the
State of washington Department of Highways for a franchise for
the installation of sewer line for the City of Kent, upon
Highway 5-A of the State of washington; and
WHEREAS, a franchise bond in the sum of $1,000.00 must be
provided the state of washington, by the City of Kent; and
WHEREAS, the General Casualty Company of America is willing to~fur
nish such a bond, for an agreed premium, upon the authorized
execution by the Mayor and City Clerk of the City of Kent of
i its application for.m s-6, and the indemnity agreement thereon
and the franchise bond,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the
City of Kent, in regular meeting assemced, that the Mayor and
1 the City Clerk of the City of Kent be and they are hereby author! ed
and directed to execute on behalf of the City of Kent General
Casualty Company of America bond application form S-6, together
" with the indemnity agreement thereon, and they are further

1 authorized and directed to execute on behalf of the City said
il $1, 000. 00 franchise bond to the State of Washington, upon its

preparation and delivery by the said company to the City for
execution •
PASSED in regular meeting t 17th day of June, 1957.
