RESOLUTION NO. ~~
WHEREAS, the owners of not less than 75% in value, according
to the assessed value for general taxation, of the property
hereinafter described, !:'we petitioned the City Council of
the City of Kent to have said described property annexed by the
I City of Kent; and
II WHEREAS, said petition is accompanied by a plat which
·i outlines the boundaries of the property sought to be annexed;
and
WHEREAS, the said petition sets forth a description of the
I property according to government legal subdivisions or legal
1 plats; and

WHEREAS, the property aougnt to be annexed is described as
follows, to-wit:
Blocks 30, 38 and 39 of washington Central Improvement
Company's Knob Hill Addition; ~~ I

ALSO the north half of the northeast quarter of the
southwest quarter of the northeast quarter of section 30,
township 22 nath, range 5 EWM.
ALSO the southeast quarter of the southwest quarter of the
southeast quarter of section 19, township 22 north, range
5 EWM;
ALSO that portion of the west 864 feet of
of the southwest quarter of the southeast
19, township 22 north, range 5 EWM, lying
city limits.

WHEREAS the said described land lies in an unincorporated
•area of the county and is contiguous to the City of Kent;
IT IS THEREFORE RESOLVED that Monday, the 15th day of July,
1957, is fixed as the day, the hour of 8:00p.m. is fixed as
,the time, and the Council Chambers of the City Hall, in the
City of Kent, is fixed as the place ror hearing on said
1 petition, and all persons interested are invited to appear and
!voice approval or disapproval of the proposed annexation of
said property to the City of Kent.
IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk give due and
