HomeMy WebLinkAbout3681 2 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 1' 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 32 RESOLUTION NO. 3....k_1 WHEREAS, the owners of not less than 75% in value, according to the assessed value for general taxation, of the property hereinafter described, have petitioned the City Council of the City of Kent to have said described property annexed by the City of Kent; and WHEREAS, said petition is accompanied b.J a plat which outlines the boundaries of the property sought to be annexed; and WHEREAS, the said petition sets forth a description of the property according to government legal subdivisions or legal plats; and WHEREAS, the property sought to be annexed is described as follows, to-wit: and Blocks 31, 32, 33, 34, 35, 36, 37, and 40, of Washington Central Improvement Company's Knobb Hill Addition to Kent, situated in King County, washington; WHEREAS the srud described land lies in an unincorporated area of the county and is contiguous to the City of Kent; IT IS THEREFORE RESOLVED that Monday, the 17th day of December, 1956, is fixed as the day, the hour of 8:00 o'clock p.m. is fixed as the time, and the Council Chambers of the City Hall, in the City of Kent, is fixed as the place for hearing on said petition, and all persons interested are invited to appear and voice approval or disapproval of the proposed annexation of said property to the City of Kent. It is further resolved that the City Clerk give due and legal notice of said hearing, as required by law. PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL IN REGULAR MEETING ASSEMBLED this 19th day of November, 1956.
