HomeMy WebLinkAbout3631 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 10 l] 12 13 ' 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 2] 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 RESOLUTION No. ~~- WHEREAS, the owners of not less than 75% in value, according to the assessed value for general taxation, of the property hereinafter described, have petitioned the City Council of the City of Kent to have said described property annexed by the City of Kent; and WHEREAS, said petition is accompanied by a plat whXh outlines the boundaries of the property sought to be annexed; and WHEREAS, the said petition sets forth a description of the property according to government legal subdivisions or legal plats; and WHEREAS, the property sought to be annexed is described as follows, to-wit: and That portion of section 19, township 22 north, range 5 East W.M., described as follows: Beginning at the northwest corner of the southwest quarter of the northeast quartr of said section 19; thence East along the north line of said south- west quarter of the northeast quarter to the easterly line of the west half of said southwest quarter of the northeast quarter; thence southerly along said eat line and along the east line of the west half of the northwest quarter of the southeast quarter of said section 19, to the southeast corner of the west half of the northwest quarter of the southeast quarter; thence westerly along the south line of said west half of the northwest quarter of the southeast quarter to the southwest corner of said west half; thence northerly and northwesterly and northerly along the existing city limits line to the north line of the southeast quarter of the northwest quarter of said section 19; thence easterly along said north line to the place of beginning, situated in King County, Washington, WHEREAS, the said described land lies in an unincorporated area of the county and is contiguous to the City of Kent; IT IS THEREFORE RESOLVED that Monday, the 2nd day of July, 1956, is fixed as the day, the hour of 8:0'clock p.m. is fixed as the time, and the Council Chambers of the City Hall, in the City of Kent, is fixed as the place for hearing on said petition, and all persons interested are invited to appear and voice approval or disapproval of the proposed annexation of 1 4 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 I 26 27 28 29 30 said~roperty to the City of Kent.
