2 BE IT RESmLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENT in regular
3 meeting assembled:
4 That the City Council does hereby declare its intention of
5 improving the following described property~ to-wit:
e 1. Lots twenty-two (22) to forty-two (42) inclusive~ block
2~ Cross Addition to Kent;

2. Lots eleven (ll) to twenty (20), inclusive, block 5~
8 McMillan's Addition to Kent,
9 3. Lots eighteen (18) to thirty (30), inclusive, block 17~
Washington CenL,a l Improvement Co. 's First Addition
10 to Kent.
ll 4. Lots thirteen (13) to seventeen (17)~ inclusive, block
18, Washington Central Improvement Co.'s First Addition
12 to Kent;
13 5. The east 120 feet of that portion of Washington Central
Improvement Co.'s First Addition to Kent, lying west
14 of Central Avenue, north of the north line of block 17,
of said addition and south of the south line of Pioneer
15 Street;
16 6. The west 120 feet of that portion of Washington Central
Improvement Co.'s First Addition to Kent~ lying east
17 of Central Avenue, north of the nath line of block 18
of said addition, and south of the south line of Pioneer
18 Street;
19 7. Lots thirteen (13) to twenty-four (24)~ inclusive, bloc~ 9~

by the construction and reconstruction of concrete sidewalks in the
streets abutting all of the property described above, and by doing
such other work as may be necessary in connection with said side-
walks~ all in accordance with plans and specifications to be
prepared by the City Engineer and to be approved by the City Council;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that all persons who may desire to
be heard or to object to said improvement are hereby notified
to appear and present such objection at a meeting of the City
Council to be held in the Council Chambers of the City Hall of the

City of Kent, at 8:00 o'clock p.m., on the 6th day of June, 1955,
which time and place are hereby fixed for tie hearing on all

2 and for determining the meth~d of payment of the same.
3 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED ·~hat the City Clerk and the City
4 Engineer are directed to sub~it to the City Council at or prior

7 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the cost and expense of said
8 !improvement shall be borne by and assessed against the property
9 ~pecially benefitted thereby and that it is the present intention

10 ·pf the Council to pra1de that said costs shall be borne by and
11 ~ssessed against said property in proportion to the length of
12 Jlfrontage adjacent to said improvement.

19 I hereby certify that the within and foregoing resolution was
passed by the City Council of the City of Kent, Washington, at 20
21 •a regular meeting thereof held in the City Hall in the City of
