HomeMy WebLinkAbout350l 2 3 4 -·· •' RESOLUTION NO. 350 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENT in regular meeting assembled: That the City Council does hereby declare its intention of improving the following described property, to-wit: Schedule A. 1. The east 120 feet of that portion of the southeast e quarter of section 13, township 22 north, range 4 East W.M., lying west of Central Avenue, North of 7 James Street, and South of the North Kent City Limits line; 8 2. The west 120 feet of that portion of the southeast 9 quarter of the section 13, township 22 north, range 4 East W.M. lying east of Central Avenue, North of 10 the North line of Walmsley's Addition to Kent and south of the north Kent C~ty Limits line; 11 3. The west 120 feet of that portion of the southeast 12 quarter of section 13, township 22 north, range 4 East W.M., lying east of Central Avenue, north of 13 James Street, and south of the south line of ~'lalmsley' s Addition; 14 15 16 17 4. Lots three (3) and four (4), block 4, and lots three(3) and four (4}, block 5, Walmsley's Addition to Kent, 5. Lots twenty-two (22) to forty-two (42) inclusive, block 2, Cross Addition to Kent; 6. Russell Donation Claim No. lH, lying east cf South State Street, south of the south line of the original Plat of the Town of Kent and north of the south Kent City Liml ts line,; by the construction and reconstruction of concrete sidewalks in the streets abutting all of the property described in Schedule A above, and by doing such other work as rnay be necessary in connection iiJtJth said sidewalks, all in accordance wl th plans and specificitions to be prepared by the Clty ENgineer and to be approved by the City Council; and by the construction and laying of a storm sewerage system 2. . ..... 1 in the streets abutting the property described in Schedule B 2 above, and by doing such other work as may be necessary in 3 connection with said storm sewerage system~ all in accordance 4: with plans and specifications to be prepared by the City 5 Engineer and the State of Washington Department of Highways, 6 and to be approved by the City Council. 7 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that all persons who may desire to 8 be heard or to object to said improvements are hereby notified 9 to appear and present such objection at a meeting of the City 10 Council to be held in the Council Chambers in the City Hall 11 in the City of Kent at 8:00 o'clock p.m., on the 21st day of 12 March, 1955, which time and place are hereby fixed for the 13 hearing on all matters relating to said improvement, and all 14 objections thereto, and for determining the method of payment 15 of the same. 16 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk and the City 17 Engineer are directed to submit to the City Council at or prior 18 to said date and time all data and information required by law 19 to be so subml tted. 20 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the cost and expense of said 21 improvement shall be borne by and assessed against the property 22 specially benefitted thereby and that it is the present intention 23 of the Council to provide that said costs shall be borne by and 24 assessed against said property in proportion to the length of 25 frontage adjacent to the improvements. 26 PASSED by the City Council this 21st day of February, 1955. 27 28 29 30 31 Attest: D'.a ve J.
