RESOLUTION NO. )1.
WHEREAS, the City of Kent bas realized certain monies from
the sale of its water revenue bonds• and
WHEREAS, the immediate use of all of said funds is not nec-
essary , and the said funds should be invested at the present
time, as recommended by the finance committee;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF. KENT IN REGULAR MEET!NG ASSEMBLED, ·that ·the· sum of
$30,ooo.oo of the proceeds of the sale of the City of Kent
Water Revenue Bonds of 1948 be invested in the following
United States obligations for the amount set forth;
$'Q~Ooo.oo in United States Treasury Bills.
