HomeMy WebLinkAbout5361 I 3 4 a 6 7 8 8 10 11 1! 13 14 15 16 17 18 18 20 21 12 23 24 25 26 27 28 !8 30 !I I I, I, I I I I, I I' i: i I I I I I I I I I I 1: 1 ~ I' i I RESOLUTION NO. -:}j.. 2 b WHER~AS, the owners of more than two thirds of certain real property hereafter described, which abutts upon certain streets and alleys within the City of Kent, Washington, did on the 8th day of March, 1965, file their petition to vacate said streets and alleys with the City Clerk of Kent, along with their filing fee of $50.00 and NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Kent, in a regular meeting duly assembled, that on the 5th day of April, 1965 at 8:00PM , in the Council Chambers of the Kent City Hall, a public hearing will be conducted to de- termine whether or not the following described streets or alleys located in Kent, King County, Washington, should be vacated, to wit: That certain portion of a street located in the N! of the SW~ of Section 1, Township 22N, R4 EWM in King County, Washington, more particularly de- scribed as that portion of ?2nd Avenue South in the City of Kent, as shown in O'Brien Station Garden Tract No. 2, lying between the northerly and southerly boundaries of Lot ~5 of the said O'Brien Station Garden Tract No.2o and be it further RESOLVED that the City Clerk shall forthwith give twenty days notice of the pendency of said public hearing on said petition by a written notice posted in three of the mo::;t pub- lie places in the City and a like notice in a conspicuous place on the street or alley sought to be vacated. The said notice shall contain a statement that a petition has been filed to vacate the street or alley hereinafter described, to- gether with a statement of the time and place fixed for the hearing of said petition, and be it further, RESOLVSD, that upon assembly of said technical infor- mation, and prior to said public hearing thereon, said petition shall be referred to the Kent City Planning Commission for 1 2 3 4 a 8 7 8 8 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 18 20 21 22 23 24 25 .26 27 .28 OQ consideration at its next regular meeting and recommendation either for or against.
