RESOLUTION NO. ,s-2 ...
WHEREAS, the Police and Fire Corrunittee of the City
Council of the City of Kent, Washington, after deliberation,
study and negotiation have recommended that certain real
property, hereafter described, and located in the County of
King, State of vJashington, be purchased for a municipal fire
station site on certain terms hereafter set forth, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Kent in a
regular meeting assembled, after studying the terms, purposes
and conditions of said purchase and finding them fair, for a
proper municipal purpose, and in the best interests of the
health and safety of the citizens of the City of Kent,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF KENT IN A REGULAR MEETING ASSEMBLED: That the
Mayor and the City Clerk of the City of Kent are herewith
authorized and directed to purchase the following described
real property from the owners thereof, to wit: PASQUALE PICARADO
JR. who is identical with PAT PICARDO, JR., and HEDWICKA
PICARDO, who is identical with HEDDIE PICARDO, his wife, and
be it further
RESOLVED: That the legal description of said real
property, located in the County of King, State of Washington
~s as follows:
That portion of the SE 1/4 of the NE 1/4 of Section
23 11, Township 22N, Range 4 E.W.M. described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the West Line of
24 SSH 2-M (68th Ave.S) and the South Line of the SE
1/4 of the NE 1/4 of said Section 11; then North
25 along the West line of SSH 2-M (68th Ave) a distance
of 200 feet to the true point of beginning; thence
26 continuing North along said West line a distance of
100 feet; thence westerly parallel to the South line
27 of said SE 1/4 of the NE 1/4 a distance of 140 feet;
thence south parallel to the West line of said SSH-2M
28 (68th Ave.S) a distance of 100 ft; thence easterlyparall l
to the South line of said SE 1/4 of the NE 1/4 a
29 distance of 140 feet to the true point of beginning.
30 and be it further
31 RESOLVED: That the terms of said purchase are as

II
(A) City of Kent to pay the Picardo's the su~ of
$3,000.00 cash, on delivery to the City of a
properly executed Warranty Deed;
(B) City of Kent to pay all costs of said real
estate transaction;
and be it further
RESOLVED: That the payment for the property herein
described shall be made from the City of Kent FIRE OUTLAY
Fund, and be it further
RESOLVED: That on receipt of said executed Warranty
Deed for said real property the City Clerk shall file the
same and pay the filing fee therefore in the office of the
King County Auditor.
