lA RESOLUTION of the City of Kent delcaring the intention of the City Council
I I to improve certain street and avenues in the City by the construction and
installation of water mains and appurtenances and fixing a time and date for
a hearing on this resolution •
; BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Kent as follows:
Section 1. That it is the intention of the City Council of the City of Kent to
!!order the improvement of the following described streets and avenues within

For the reason that the installation of the water mains described
lin Section l of this Resolution will be of special benefit to certain properties,
it is the intention of the City Council to levy assessment to pay in part the cost
of such improvement and that work necessary in connection therewith and in ...
cidental thereto on all properties located within the following boundaries.
1 Beginning at a point on the W margin of PSH-5 (84th Ave. S.} 300 ft. S of
the S margin of S 228th St. (Taylor Rd); thence westerly parallel with S 228th
St. (Taylor Rd} to the E margin SSH z ... M (68th Ave. S.); thence N along said
E margin to S margin S 228th St. (Taylor Rd); thence W along said S margin
to a point 300 ft. W of W margin SSH 2-M (68th Ave. s. h thence northerly
, parallel with said W margin to a point 300 ft. S of S margin of S 212th St.
(O'Brien Rd); thence westerly parallel with said S margin to E margin of
Russell Rd; thence N along said E margin to a point 300 ft. N of N margin of

Section 3. The estimated cost of the installation of the above described
1 improvements and the doing of aU work necessary in connection and incid-
2 ental thereto is hereby declared to be approximately ($340, 010. 00) and it is
3 the intention of the City Council that such cost of the improvements be borne
4 in part by the City of Kent and in part by assessments levied in the manner
5 required by law upon the real properties benefited by the proposed improve-
6 ments.
7 Section 4. The City Engineer is hereby directed to submit to the City
8 Council at or prior to the date fixed for the hearing on this resolution a
9 statement of the estimated cost and expense of such improvements. the por-
10 tion thereof that should be borne by the property within the proposed district,
11 a statement in detail of the local improvement district asses aments out-
12 standing and unpaid against the property in the local improvement district,
13 and all other data and information required by taw to be so submitted.
14 Section 5. All persons who may desire to be heard or object to the informa-
15 tion of such district are hereby notified to appear and present such objections
16 to a meeting of the Kent City Council to be held in the Council Chamber of
17 the City Hall of Kent at 8:00 PM on July 20, 1964, whiah time and place are
18 hereby fixed for hearing of matters relating to said proposed improvements
19 and all objections thereto and for determining the method of paying said
20 improvements.
21 The City Clerk and City Engineer are hereby directed to prepare and give
22 notice of such hearing in the manner required by law.
