WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Kent, a
• municipal corporation of the Third Class of the State of
Washington, after study and negotiation has ascertained
that it is in the best interests of the health and welfare
of the citizens of the City of Kent to enter into an agree-
ment with King County Fire Protection District No.3?, wherein
in substance, said District, in consideration of certain
covenants by the City, promises to convey to the City certain
real property with building thereon, and a fire truck,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Kent, in regular meeting assembled, that the
Mayor and the City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed
to enter into an agreement (a copy which is attached hereto,
and the terms of which are incorporated by reference herein,
and which is denominated "Exhibit"A") with King County Fire
Protection District No. 37, and be it further
RESOLVED, that the City Clerk, upon the execution of
said exhibit "A" by the City and the appropriate officials
of said District, and upon receipt by the City of properly
executed instruments of title to the seal and personal property
itemized in said exhibit "A", shall cause a certified copy of
this Resolution, along with the original, executed Exhibit "A",
along with said Districts Resolution authorizing its partici-
pation in said agreement, along with said executed instruments
of title, to be filed in the office of the King County
Auditors Office and pay the filing fee therefor, and further,
a copy of this Resolution and Exhibit "A" shall be forwarded

Washington.
