RESOLUTION NO • .::..:::...:___
WHEREAS, the City of Kent, a municipal corporation of
the State of Washington, desires to transfer as a loan certain
money from the garbage fund to ~he parking meter fund to enable
the City to take advantage of a three per-cent cash discount on
the purchase of new parking meters and to cover an over-draw
of the parking meter fund, and
\~HEREAS, there is not presently sufficient monies in
said parking meter fund to accomplish said purpose,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Kent in regular meeting assembled that the City Clerk
and the City Treasurer of the City of Kent be authorized, empower-
ed and instructed and they are hereby expressly authorized, empow-
ered and instructed to transfer from the garbage fund to the
parking meter fund to enable the City of Kent to obtain a three
per-cent cash discount on the recent purchase of new parking
meters the sum of $12,583.08, and be it further
RESOLVED, that said City Clerk and said City Treasurer
be authorized, empowered and instructed and they are hereby expres
sly authorized, empowered and instructed to transfer back to the
garbage fund from the parking meter fund the monies so borrowed
whenever there is sufficient monies in said parking meter fund
to return the monies so borrowed.
