WHEREAS, the City of Kent, a municipal corporation of
the State of \vashington, desires to transfer as a loan cer-
tain money from the \vater Revenue Fund to the Water Construe-
tion Fund for maintenance and operation and due to the unfore-
seen decrease in monies necessary for maintenance and operation
of said Water Construction Fund, and
WHEREAS, said money is to be borrowed by the Water Con-
struction Fund for the purpose of paying necessary expendi-
tures therefor during the period that receipt of funds
sufficient to operate and maintain said Water Construction
Fund is awaited, now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Kent in
regular meeting assembled that the City Clerk and the City
Treasurer of the City of Kent be authorized, empowered and
instructed, and they are hereby expressly authorized,
empowered and instructed to transfer from the \.Vater Revenue
Fund to the \-later Construction Fund for maintenance and
operation, the sum of Four Thousand Five Hundred Ninety-
~vo and 10/100 ($4,592.10) Dollars; and be it further
RESOLVED, that said City Clerk and said City Treasurer
be authorized, empowered and instructed, and they are h~reby
expressly authorized, empower~d and instructed to transfer
back to the Water Revenue Fund, from the Water Construction
Fund, for maintenance and operation, the monies so borrowed,
whenever there is sufficient monies in said Water Construction
Fund to return the monies so borrowed.
