1 WHEREAS, there has been presented to the City
2 Council of the City of Kent an Ordinance declaring an
3 emergency, making an appropriation and providing for the
4 issuance of warrants for the payment of the salary of a
5 clerk in the Utility Section of the Kent City Water Depart-
a ment through December 31, 1963; now, therefore be it

RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Kent
in a regular meeting assembled: That Monday the 19th day
of August 1963, at 8:00 o'clock P. M. is fixed as the time
and the council chambers of the City Hall of the City of
Kent, State of Washington, is fixed as the place for pub-
lic hearing upon said Ordinance and all persons desiring
to be heard thereon are required then and there to be
present;and be it further
16 RESOLVED that the City Clerk cause said Ordinance,
17 along with this Resolution, be published as a Notice of
18 Hearing on said Ordinance in the Kent News Journal at least
19 once before said hearing.
