1 WHEREAS, there has been presented to the City
2 Council of the City of Kent an Ordinance declaring an emer-
3 gency, making an appropriation and providing for the issuance
4 I of warrants for the payment of the salary and a secretary of
5 the Police Judge of the City of Kent for the month of January,

WHEREAS, there has further been presented to
the City Council of the City of Kent, an Ordinance declar-
ing an emergency, making an appropriation and providing for
the issuance of warrants for the payment for maintenance
and operation of the Kent Municipal Division of the Aukeen
District Justice Court for filing and witness fees and
other costs through December 31, 1963,
NOW, THEREFORE, be it
RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Kent
in regular meeting assembled: That the 19th day of August,
1963, at 8:00 o'clock P. M. is fixed as the time, and the
Council Chambers of the City Hall of the City of Kent, State
of Washington, is fixed as the place for public hearing upon
said Ordinance and all persons desiring to be heard thereon
are required then and there to be present,and be it further
RESOLVED that the City Clerk cause said Ordinance,
along with this Resolution, to be published as a Notice of
Hearing on said Ordinance in the Kent News Journal at least
once before said hearing.

the 5th day of August, 1963.
