RESOLUTION NO._!:f'__j__i
WHEREAS the City of Kent has made application to the County of King
fore franchise and/or permits for the installation of various water lines
for the City of Kent upon various County roads within the general vicinity
of the City of Kent; and
WHEREAS, a bond in the sum on One-thousand ($1,000.001 Dollars must be
provided to the County of King by the City of Kent; and
WHEREAS, the General Insurance Company of America is wi fling to furnish
10 such e bond for en agreed premium, upon the authorized execution by the
11 Mayor and Cfty Clerk of the City of Kent of Its application form S-6 and the
12 fndemnity agreement thereon end the franchise end/or permit bonds;
13 NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Counci I of the City of Kent,
14 In regular meeting assembled, that the Mayor and the CityClerk 6f the City
16 of Kent be, and they ere hereby authorized end directed to execute on behalf
16 of the City of Kent, General Insurance Company of America bond application
17 Form S-6, together with the Indemnity agreement thereon, and they are
18 further authorized end directed to execute on behalf of the City said
19 $1,000.00 bond to the County of King upon its preparation end delivery
20 by the said company to the City for execution.
