RESOLUTION NO. ~,
WHEREAS, the City of Kent, a municipal cor-
poration, of the State of Washington, desires to trans-
fer as a loan certain money from the Garbage Fund to the
Parking Heter Fund for maintenance and operation and due
to the unforeseen drop in revenue from parking meters,
and
WHEREAS, said money is to be borrowed by the
Parking l'1eter Fund for the purpose o.f paying necessary
expenditures therefor during the period that receipt of
revenue from said parking meters is awaited; now, there{.~
be it
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of
Kent in regular meeting assembled that the City Clerk
and the City Treasurer of the City of Kent be authorized,
empowered and instructed, and they are hereby expressly
authorized, empowered and instructed to transfer from the
Garbage Fund to the Parking Meter Fund for maintenance
and operation, the sum of Two Thousand Dollars ($2,000.00);
and be it further
RESOLVED, that the said City Clerk and the
said City Treasurer be authorized, empowered and in-
structed and they are hereby expressly authorized, empow-
ered and instructed to transfer back to the Garbage Fund,
from the Parking Meter Fund, for maintenance and opera-
tions, the moneys so borrowed, whenever there is suffi-
cient money in said Parking Meter Fund to return the
moneys borrowed.
