WHEREAS, the City of Kent has made an application under

3 Department of Highways for a franchise for the installation of a water line

4 for the City of Kent upon certain highways and across certain highways of
5 the State of Washington; and

WHEREAS, a franchise performance bond in the aum of One _......:;..;;;:;..;:._ __ _

8 , State of Washington by the City of Kent; and
9 WHEREAS, General Insurance Company of America ia willing to
10 furnish such a bond, for an agreed premium, upon the authorized execution
11 by the Mayor and the City Clerk of the City of Kent of said Company's
12 appUcation form No. s .. 6, and the indemnity agreement thereon, and tho
13 franchise bond.
14 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
15 OF THE CITY OF KENT, in regular me•tlng asaembled:
16 That the Mayor a.Jld City Clerk of the City of Kent be and they are
17 hereby authorized and directed to execute on ~half of the City of Kent
18 General Insurance Company of America Bond Application Form s ... 6, together
19 with the indemnity agreement thereon, and they are further authorized and
20 directted to execute on behalf of tho City said franchise bond to the State of
