RESOLUTION NO. /f'Zl-
WHEREAS, the City of Kent has made an application under
Application No. S-1523 of District No. 1, State of Washington
Department of Highways for a franchise for the installation of
water line for the City of Kent upon certain highways and across c r-
tain highways of the State of Washington; and
WHEREAS, a franchise performance bond in the sum of rn,ne_
thousand ($~l~OOOoOO) Dollars must be provided to the State of
Washington by the City of Kent; and
WHEREAS, General Insurance Company of America is willing
to furnish such a bond, for an agreed premium, upon the authorized
execution by the Mayor and the City Clerk of the City of Kent of
said Company's application form No. S-6, and the indemnity agree-
ment thereon, and the franchise bond,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF KENT in regular meeting assembled:
That the Mayor and City Clerk of the City of Kent,)be and
they are hereby authorized and directed to execute on behalf of
the City of Kent General Insurance Company of America Bond Applica
tion Form S-6, together with the indemnity agreement thereon, and
they are further authorized and directed to execute on behalf of
the City said franchise bond to the State of Washington in the
sum of One-thousand ($l,OOO.OO)Dollars, on its preparation and
delivery by the said company to the City for execution.
