WHEREAS, the owners of all of the property abutting upon
a portion of l'vlountain Avenl-E (2'7th Ave. South), hereinafter
described, have petitioned the City Countil of the City of Kent fo
a vacation of said portion of said street, and
WHEREAS, the portion of said street sought to be vacated is
described as follows:
That portion of IVlountain Ave. (2'7th Ave. So.) lying between
the north line of Oak St. (S. 248th St.) and the north line
projected east, of Lot 14, Blk. 21, Interurban Heights,
Third Section, as recorded in Volume 17 of Plats, page 87,
Records of King County, Washington.
It is therefore, RESOLVED, that Tuesday, the 2nd day of
January, 1962, at t:he hour of 8:00 o'clock P.M. is hereby fixed
as the time and the Council Chambers of the City Hall of the
City of Kent is hereby fixed as the place for a hearing upon
said petition, and all persons interested are required then and
there to be present and state their objections if any they have
to the granting of' said petition.
