1 WHEREAS, the City of Kent, a municipal corporation of the State of
2 Washington, desires to transfer as a loan certain money from the Garbage Fund
3 to the Current EXpense Fund, for maintenance and operation; and
4 WHEREAS, said money is to be borrowed by the Current Expense Fund for
5 the purpoo e of paying necessary expenditures therefor during the period that
6 receipt of tax allocations is awaited;
7 NOV'l, THEREFORE, BE rr RESOLVJ:i.:D by the City Council of the City of Kent
8 in regular meeting assembled that the City Clerk and the City Treasurer of the
9 City of Kent be authorized, empowered and instructed and they are hereby
10 expressly authorized, empowered and instructed to transfer from the Garbage
11 Fund to the Current Expense Fund, for maintenance and operation, the sum of
12 Thirty-Thousand ($30,000) Dollars;
13 BE rr FURTHER RESOLVED THAT the said City Clerk and the said City
14 Treasurer be authorized, empcwered arrl instructed and they are rereby expressly
15 authorized, empa~ered and instructed to transfer back to the Garbage Fund, from
16 the Current Ex.pense Fund, for Maintenance and Operations, the moneys so bowrowed
17 whenever there is sufficient money in said latter fund to return the moneys
18 borrowed.
