BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENT IN REGU
LAR MEETING ASSEMBLED:
1. That the City Council does hereby declare its intention
to vacate the following described portion of the following
described street, to-wit:
Beginning at the South Quarter corner of Section 18,
Township 22 North, Range 5 East, W.M., and run
thence North along the centerline of said Section 18,
30.0 feet to the true point of beginning for this
description; thence West, parallel to the true South line
of the Southwest quarter of said Seeton 18, to the East
line of Hazel Street extended South; thence North along
said East line extended 5.54 feet; thence East, in a straight
line to the true point of beginning.iXCEPTING those portions
of the above described parcel lying within dedicated Hilltop
Ave. and Alvord Ave.
2. That a public hearing on the said proposed vacation be
and it is hereby set for the jjth day ofS~p~emb~rl961, at the
hour of 8:00 o'clock p.m., in the Council Chambers of the City
Hall of the City of Kent.
3. The City Clerk of the City of Kent is hereby authorized
and directed to give notice of said hearing as required by law.
