TRANSFER RESOLUTION AND REQU~ST
FOR THE DIRECTOR OF HIGHWAYS TO PERFORM CERTAIN WORK

Before the City Council of Kent , Washington. ------~-~-------------------~~-----------
IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Council of Kent that the Director
of Highways is authorized and directed to
Install four (4), 24,000 lumen, mercury vapor luminaires at the intersection
of South 2$2nd street and Primary State Highway No. 1
TWO THOUSAND SIX HUNDRED THIRTEEN OOLLARS & f:IJ/lOO CENTS
to the amount of ( $ 2,613,£:/J ) Dollars,
and
Authorization is hereby granted for the withholding from the monthly fuel tax
allotments to the above specified sum, being an amount not in excess of the money
reasonably anticipated to accrue to the credit of the City of
Kent in the Motor Vehicle Fund during the current bienni-
um; and
Upon completion of the aforesaid work, and a statement of cost having been fur-
nished the City of Kent of the cost of all labor,
equipment, material, supplies, and engineering, authorization is made to effect re-
imbursement to the Department of Highways in the amount of such cost from the funds
withheld, however, not to exceed the above specified sum with any unexpended balance
to be released to the City of Kent and to be included
in the next succeeding warrant covering fuel tax allotments; all in accordance with
RCW 47 .08.090.
