WHEREAS, the owners of all of the property abutting upon a
portion of Clark Street hereinafter described have petitioned
the City Council of the City of Kent for the vacation of said
portion of said street, and
WHEREAS, the portion of said street sought to be vacated is
described as follows, to-wit:
Beginning at the SW corner of Lot 5, Block 1, WCI Co's Knob
Hill Addition as recorded in Volume 5 of Plats, page 97,
records of King County, Washington; thence westerly along
the projected south line of said Lot 5 to its intersection
with the projected northerly line of Clark St.; thence
northeasterly along said northerly line to the most
northerly point thereof; thence southeasterly to the
intersection of the projected northerll lines of Lot 1 and
Lot 8 said Block 1; thence southweste~ along the westerly
lines of Lots 8, 7, 6 and 5 said Block 1 to the pdnt of
beginning.
IT IS THEREFORE RESOLVED that Tuesday, the 5th day of July,
1960, at the hour of 8:00 o 1 clock P.M., is hereby fixed as the
time, and the Council Chambers of the City Hall of the City of
Kent is hereby fixed as the place, for hearings upon said peti~n,
and all persons interested are required then and there to be pres nt
to state their objections, if any they have, to the granting of
said petition.
PASSED by the City Council in regular meeting assembled
this 6th day of June, 1960.
