WHEREAS, the formation of a park and recreation district
under the terms of R.C.\v.36.us-.010 et seq., is proposed, and
WHEREAS, the boundaries of said park and recreation district
include a portion of the City of Kent; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary under· the statutes of the state
of w~shington that consent of the Legislative body of the City
of Kent is required, in order to include within the boundaries
of said proposed park and recreatio~ district any portion of
the City of Kent;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the
City of Kent, in regular meeting assembled:
Section l. That the City of Kent does hereoy consent to
the inclusion within the boundaries of a proposed park and
recreatioL district in King County, Washington, that portion
of the City of Kent lying within the boundaries of the said
proposed district, and also within the boundaries of Kent School
District No. 41), King County, Washington.
Section 2. Be it ~urther resolved that a certified copy
of this resolution to accompany the petition for the formation
of said park and recreatioL district be delivered to the
petitioners for said district.
PASSED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the
