A RESOLUTION of the City Council
of the City of Kent, Washington, regarding a
plan commonly called the "East Hill Plan", an
amendment to the city's Comprehensive Plan.
WHEREAS an amendment of the City of Kent's Comprehen-
sive Plan has been proposed as indicated on the attached Ex-
hibit "A 11
, and commonly referred to as the "East Hill Plan",
and
WHEREAS in accordance with the provisions of Chapter
25A.63.073 of the Revised Code of Washington, hearings were
held before the Planning Commission of the City of Kent, and
WHEREAS after the final hearing of the Planning Commis-
sion on October 23, 1979, the proposed amended plan was forward-
ed to the City Council with the recommendation that the amend-
ment be adopted, and
WHEREAS the City Council held public hearings on the
proposed amendment on November 19, 1979 and following said hear-
ing concurred with the recommendation of the Planning Commission,
NOW, THEREFORE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENT, WASHINGTON, DO
HEREBY RESOLVE:
Section 1. That the amendment to the Comprehensive
Plan of the City of Kent, attached hereto as Exhibit "A", and
commonly called the "East Hill Plan", be and hereby is incorpo-
rated herein by reference as if fully set forth herein, and the
same hereby is adopted.
Section 2. That the Comprehensive Plan amendment be
filed with the City Clerk and in the office of the Planning
Department and be made available for public inspection upon re-
quest.
PASSED at a regular meeting of the Kent City Council
this 3rd day of December, 1979.
