HomeMy WebLinkAbout864RESOLUTION NO. ~ A RESOLUTION of the City Council of the City of Kent, Washington regarding vacation of a portion of 76th Avenue South and South 194th Streets in the City of Kent. WHEREAS a proper petition has been filed request- ing vacation of a portion of 76th Avenue South and South 194th Streets, dedicated streets in the City of Kent de- scribed as that portion of 76th Avenue South abutting Tract 26, Highway Homes Garden Tracts, unrecorded and lying northerly of the south line of said Tract 26 extended east- erly. Also, all of South 194th Street lying south of the abutting Tracts 1 and 2, Highway Homes Garden Tracts, un- recorded, in Kent, King County, Washington, NOW, THEREFORE THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENT, WASHINGTON DO HEREBY RESOLVE: Section 1. That the hearing on the aforesaid vacation shall be at a Regular Meeting of the Kent City Council to be held at 8 o'clock p.m., May 7, 1979 in the Council Chambers in Kent City Hall, Kent, Washington. Section 2. The City Clerk shall give proper no- tice of the hearing and cause the notice to be posted as provided by law. Section 3. The Planning Director shall obtain the necessary written approval or rejection of the Water, Sewer and Street Departments and shall transmit said infor- mation to the City Council so the matter can be considered by the City Council at a Regular Meeting of May 7, 1979. PASSED at a Regular Meeting of the Kent City Council this 19th day of March, 1979.
