HomeMy WebLinkAbout851RESOLUTION NO. A RESOLUTION of the City Council of the City of Kent, Washington regarding vacation of a certain street or portion thereof in the City of Kent. (Railroad Lane) WHEREAS a proper petition has been filed request- ing vacation of a portion of Railroad Lane, a dedicated street in the City of Kent, described as follows: That portion of Railroad Lane located in the southeast quarter of Section 12, Township 22 North, Range 4 E.W.M., ly- ing southerly of the north line of Lot 17, Shinn's Valley Home Addition, as recorded in Volume 7 of Plats, Page 22, Records of King County, Washington, pro- jected easterly, and lying northerly of the south line of Lot 15, said addition, projected easterly. NOW, THEREFORE THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENT, WASHINGTON, DO HEREBY RESOLVE: Section 1. That the hearing on the aforesaid va- cation shall be at a regular meeting of the Kent City Council to be held at 8 o'clock p.m., December 4, 1978 in the Council Chambers in Kent City Hall, Kent, Washington. Section 2. The City Clerk shall give proper notice of the hearing and cause the notice to be posted as provided by law. Section 3. The Planning Director shall obtain the necessary written approval or rejection of the Water, Sewer and Street Departments and shall transmit said information to the City Council so the matter can be considered by the City Council at the regular meeting of December 4, 1978. PASSED at the regular meeting of the Kent City Coun- cil this 6th day of November, 1978.
