A RESOLUTION of the City Council
of the City of Kent, Washington, regarding
vacation of a certain alley or portion there-
of in the City of Kent.
WHEREAS a proper petition has been filed requesting va-
cation of a portion of a dedicated alley in the City of Kent, describ-
ed in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and by reference made a part hereof
as if fully set forth herein, NOW, THEREFORE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENT, WASHINGTON, DO
HEREBY RESOLVE:
Section 1. That the hearing on the aforesaid vacation
shall be at a regular meeting of the Kent City Council to be held at
8 o'clock p.m. March 20, 1978 in the Council Chambers in Kent City
Hall, Kent, Washington.
Section 2. The City Clerk shall give proper notice of
the hearing and cause the notice to be posted as provided by law.
Section 3. The Planning Director shall obtain the nec-
essary written approval or rejection of the Water, Sewer and Street
Departments and shall transmit said information to the City Council so
the matter can be considered by the City Council at the regular meet-
ing of March 20, 1978.

Dear Mayor:
The undersigned respectfully request the City Council of
Kent to vacate a portion of that certain alley lying
within Block 5, Clark's Second Addition to the Town of
Kent.
The portion to be vacated is described as:
Approximately 16 feet in width and approximately 124.70
feet in length of a dedicated alley abutting lots 1, 2,
7 and 8 in ·.Block 5, Clark's 2nd Addition to tpe Town of
Kent, according to plat thereof recorded in Volume 15
of Plats, page 72, records of King County, Washington,
which is subject to existing utilities easements.
An area map is attached. You have $150.00 for application,
check #2384, from Real Estate, Inc. of Washington dated
December 2, 1977.
We request that this petition be placed on the agenda
for February 6, 1978.
