A RESOLUTION of the City Council
of the City of Kent, Washington regard-
ing vacation of a certain street or por-
tion thereof in the City of Kent.
WHEREAS a proper petition has been filed requesting
vacation of a portion of South 238th Street, a dedicated street in
the City of Kent, described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and by
reference made a part hereof as if fully set forth herein, NOW,
THEREFOR
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENT, WASHINGTON, DO
HEREBY RESOLVE:
Section 1. That the hearing on the aforesaid vaca-
tion shall be at :a regular meeting of the Kent City Council to be
held at 8 o'clock p.m., January 16, 1978 in the Council Chambers in
Kent City Hall, Kent, Washington.
Section 2. The City Clerk shall give proper notice
of the hearing and cause the notice to be posted as provided by law.
Section 3. The Planning Director shall obtain the
necessary written approval or rejection of the Water, Sewer and
Street Departments and shall transmit said information to the City
Council so the matter can be considered by the City Council at the
regular meeting of January 16, 1978.

Legal Description for vacation of a portion of South 238th Stref!t:
A portion of the south half of the SW 1/4 of Section 13, Township
22 North, Range 4 East, W.M., in King County, Washington, described
as follmvs: Beginning at the northwest corner of Lot 3 of the ·
Western Farmers Replat as recorded in Volume 101 of Plats, page 14,
records of King County, thence south 88°36'25 11 east along the north
line of said Lot 3, 57.30 feet to the true point .of beginning of
this description; thence continuing south 88°36'25 11 east, 25.06
feet to a point on a curve; thence on a curve to the left whose
center lies north 63°54'24 11 east, 65 feet, through a central angle
of 305°01'38" to the northerly margin of s. 238th Street, as deeded
to the City of Kent by deed recorded under A.F. No. 7409260487; thence
north 88°36'25 11 west along the north margin of said s. 238th Street,
25~06 feet; thence on a curve to the right whose center lies south
63°54'24 11 west, 65 feet, through a central angle of 54Q58'22" to
the true point of beginning. ·

abutting upon that portion of a cul-de-sac street shown
on the face of the plat of the Western Farmers Replat of
the City of Kent, King County, Washington, do hereby peti-
tion that all that certain property described in Exhibit
A hereto annexed be vacat§d pursuant to the laws of the
State of Washington.

matter.
