A RESOLUTION of the City Council
of the City of Kent, Washington, adopting
the 1977-1982 Six-Year Capital Improvement
Program for the Kent Department of Parks
and Recreation.
WHEREAS, the City by Ordinance 1861 adopted a Com-
prehensive Park and Recreation Plan, and
WHEREAS, the Inter-Agency Committee for Outdoor Rec-
reation in the State of Washington (IAC) has provided funding
in the past for acquisition of park sites and development of
said sites in the City, and
WHEREAS, IAC has indicated its willingness to consider
future funding in the City, and
WHEREAS, IAC requires that the City adopt a six-year
capital improvement program to implement the comprehensive
plan, NOW, THEREFORE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENT, WASHINGTON DO
HEREBY RESOLVE:
Section 1. There is hereby adopted the 1977-1982 Six-
Year Capital Improvement Program of the City of Kent Department
of Parks and Recreation, said plan being attached hereto as
Exhibit A and incorporated herein by reference as if fully set
forth herein.
PASSED at the regular meeting of the Kent City Council
this 22nd day of February, 1977.
