RESOLUTION NO. ~
A RESOLUTION of the City Council of the
City of Kent, Washington, regarding a petition
to vacate a portion of South 208th Street, a
dedicated street in the City of Kent.
WHEREAS, a proper petition has been filed for vacation
of a portion of South 208th Street, a dedicated street in the
City of Kent, more particularly described as follows:
All that portion of South 20 8th Street lying
between 77th Avenue South and Burlington Northern
Railroad right-of-way in S ections 1 and 12, Town-
ship 22 North, Range 4E, Willamette Meridian, King
County, Washington.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENT,
WASHINGTON, DO HEREBY RESOLVE:
Section 1. That the aforesaid petition shall be heard
at a Regular Meeting of the Kent City Council to be held at 8:00
p.m., April 21, 1975, in the Council Chambers, Kent City Hall,
Kent, Washington.
Section 2. That the City Clerk shall give proper notice
of the Hearing and cause the notice to be posted as provided by law.
Section 3. That the City Engineer shall process the peti-
tion and obtain the necessary written approval or rejection of Water,
Sewer and Street Departments and shall transmit said information to
the Planning Department so that the matter can be considered by the
Kent Planning Commission at its regular meeting of March 25, 1975.
PASSED at a Regular Meeting of the Kent City Council this
17th day of March, 1975.
