A RESOLUTION of the City Council of the
City of Kent, Washington, approving and priori-
tizing plans and programs for expenditure of
funds for which the City may be eligible under
the Community Development Act of 1974.
WHEREAS, under the Community Development Act of 1974
the City of Kent may be eligible to receive certain funds based
upon ita population and certain funds based upon demonstrated
needs of the community, said funds to be used for purposes
authorised by the Act, and
WHEREAS, the City Council has held public hearings to
assess the needs of the community, and public participation in
said hearings was solicited and encouraged, and
WHEREAS, input from the public was received and con-
sidered and the Council having determined the plans and programs
to which funds should be allocated and the priorities therefor,
NOW, THEREFORE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENT, WASHINGTON, DO
HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Any community Development funds for which
the City of Kent may be eligible based upon population shall be
allocated as follows:
Project 1.
Project 2.
Project 3.
Projeet 4.
Cardiac Monitoring Equipment
Community Service Center
Interim Assistance
Community Development Planning,
citizen participation coordina-
tion and technical assistance
10% optional reserve -to be
committed by the City Council
during first program year if
desired
