A RESOLUTION of the City Council of
the City of Kent, Washington, designating
the Mayor as the person authorized to
execute and file all documents and make
all the necessary certifications relative
to applications for reimbursement of por-
tions of costs of waste treatment works
previously constructed.
WHEREAS, the Environmental Protection Agency has
advised the City that it may be eligible for reimbursement of
portions of costs of waste water treatment works constructed
prior to 1973, and
WHEREAS, one of the requirements that the City must
meet in order to be eligible for reimbursement is the adoption
of a Resolution authorizing a representative to execute and
file all documents and to make all necessary certifications,
NOW, THEREFORE
BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That in order to meet the requirements of
the Environmental Protection Agency for reimbursement of portions
of costs of waste treatment works previously constructed, ISABEL
HOGAN, Mayor of the City of Kent, is hereby designated as the
representative authorized to execute and file all documents and
to make all necessary certifications regarding any project for
which the City may be eligible for reimbursement.
PASSED at a Regular Meeting of the City Council this
5th day of August, 1974.
