WHEREAS, KENNY EVENSON has completed more than Twenty-
six (26) years as an employee of the City of Kent and for over
Twenty (20) of those years has served as Superintendent of the
City's. Water Department, and as a Weather Observer for the National
Weather Service, and
WHEREAS, KENNY EVENSON has grown in his job over the
years, keeping pace with technological advances and encouraging ..
employees in his Department to do likewise, and
WHEREAS, KENNY EVENSON'S unfailing good humor and plea-
sant manner have been a source of constant inspiration to his
fellow employees with the City of Kent, and
WHEREAS, the Mayor and City Council of the City of Kent,
Washington, on their own behalf and on behalf of the citizens of
the City of Kent wish to recognize the contributions KENNY.EVENSON
has made toward the betterment of our City, and to commend him for
the conscientious manner in which he has performed his duties, NOW,
THEREFORE,
BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED that the Citizens of the City of
Kent, by and through their Mayor and City Council do hereby commend
and thank KENNY EVENSON for his long years of service to the City
and extend to him their best wishes for his future years.
PASSED at a Regular Meeting of the Kent City Council
